Kelly Korreck
Dr. Kelly Korreck is a trailblazer in the field of astrophysics, known for her work studying the Sun’s intense, explosive outer atmosphere, the corona. Throughout her career, she has built and operated scientific instruments that have taken her from the desert of New Mexico to Japan, and even to the very edge of the Sun’s inner solar system.
With extensive experience leading large STEM project teams, Dr. Korreck has seen firsthand the unique challenges women in STEM face as they balance ambitious careers with personal fulfillment. Motivated to make a difference, she has become an inspiring speaker and dedicated coach, empowering women in STEM with the tools to lead innovative, resilient teams.
Dr. Korreck holds both a Bachelor’s in Physics and Astronomy and a Ph.D. in Space Physics from the University of Michigan. Outside of her work, she finds joy in yoga, beach time, and adventures with her family—whether hiking, exploring, or cooking.
